An island over 350 metres in length, OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort is partially shaded by its lush vegetation encircled by white beaches adjacent to a spectacular house reef where myriad of fish call home.

Director of Sales & Marketing

OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort/ we would consider UK/EU based individual for the role.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for working closely with the senior management team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. Direct and manage hotel sales & marketing
plans and forecasting process to ensure they accurately interpret and support the objectives of the business and use the plans to focus the sales efforts on all market segments. Travel is primarily international with overnight travel but also includes local DMC meetings.
Essential Functions:
- Develop the Sales & Marketing plan, actions, and critical path to the resort in line with the set budget.
- Manage the property’s Sales & Marketing strategies as required under the direction of the VP Sales & Marketing- Asia Pacific and the property General Manager.
- Develops strategies for forecasting and analyzing sales needs and developing effective product responses, delivery systems and methods of measuring and evaluating results.
- Plan, develops and executes sales and marketing plans to provide direction and a specific plan of action for the property.
- Develops new and/or improved products to improve the competitiveness and maximize profitability; promotes marketing awareness and clearly communicates the marketing objectives to support the achievement of plans and sales goals.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates short-term tactics and long-term sales plans and programs focused on customer needs and expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
Experienced Director of Sales & Marketing with Maldives experience is essential. Degree with emphasis in marketing, sales, public relations and communications, business administration would be considered favorably. Excellent knowledge and understanding of the European and Asian markets behaviors and business needs. Multilingual skill is always a plus for this position.
