Main Teacher - Dhivehi (Secondary) - Billabong High International School

Islanders Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Main Teacher - Dhivehi (Secondary) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Dhivehi to students at various levels and helping them develop their skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning.

Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (MNQF Level 7) in Dhivehi Language or an equivalent qualification, along with a teaching Diploma (MNQF 5) or a higher teaching qualification.
- Must be proficient in Dhivehi language (speaking and writing).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Dhivehi Language and Literature.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching strategies.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Relevant experience in teaching Dhivehi (SSC &HSC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Dhivehi Language or a related field.
- Experience in teaching Dhivehi Language for Secondary School students.
- Teaching experience in an international school and demonstrate knowledge of SSC & HSC syllabus.

Salary and benefits
- MVR 20,800.00 - MVR 22,400.00 per month ( Annual Income: MVR  265,400.00 - MVR 284,600.00 per annum)
