Bank of Maldives is seeking to recruit a talented and qualified individual to the position of Operations Assistant in our Physical Security Department
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Monitor CCTV systems in the security control Room, reporting all incidents to the officers/manager.
• Monitor and respond to the fire alarms to prevent damage to property or people. Call relevant agencies to minimize any damage as necessary.
• Installation and Maintenance of Intruder Alarm & Panic Alarms at all BML premises.
• Installation and Maintenance of CCTV Surveillance Systems at all BML premises.
• Detection/Resolving of issues relating to CCTV Surveillance System.
• Accurately reporting all incidents to Physical Security Manager.
• Preventing and detecting potential offences on sites.
• Issue keys to staff/Contractors and verify authority of individuals to obtain keys.
• Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security service of BML.
• Checking and validating business visitor credentials.
• Accurately updating administrative records and sheets of BML security.
• Undertake tasks assigned by officers/Line manager.
• Provide support to other departments of BML in providing security assistance.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
• Good observation skills
• Aware of health and safety issues
• Dealing with people politely but in an authoritative manner
• Having a professional approach to all routine tasks
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to communication effectively at all levels
• Ability to work on shift duty.
Criteria:
• 3 passes in GCE A’ Level or an equivalent qualification OR;
• 6 passes in GCE O Level or an equivalent qualification
