Society for Health Education (SHE) is looking for a suitable candidates for the following post.


PROGRAMME OFFICER x 1

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance , Science,
Inclusive studies or related field
 OR
 2-3 years’ experience in Project Management and Programmatic Work. 

Requirements:
- Should be a Maldivian.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Willing and able to multi-task
- Able to understand basic financial statement and work plans
- Focused and target oriented
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to travel on occasions when required

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Mobilize resources such as funds, partnerships, and in-kind donations to support the organization's programs and projects.
2. Develop strategies and action plans to identify, pursue, and secure funding opportunities from various sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
3. Establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing donors, ensuring effective communication and stewardship to promote ongoing support.
4. Prepare and submit high-quality project proposals and grant applications to attract funding, in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and donor requirements.
5. Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events and campaigns to generate financial support and increase community awareness and engagement.
6. Conduct research to identify new potential funders and develop a prospecting strategy to expand the organization's donor base.
7. Develop systems for tracking and reporting on fundraising activities, progress, and outcomes, ensuring timely submission of reports to donors and stakeholders
8. Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to identify resource needs, explore partnership opportunities, and develop joint fundraising initiatives.
9. Participate in budget development and monitoring, ensuring that fundraising activities are aligned with the organization's financial goals and resources.
10. Provide training and support to staff members and volunteers involved in resource mobilization activities to enhance their skills and knowledge in fundraising techniques.
11. Keep abreast of trends and best practices in resource mobilization, regularly researching and attending relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
12. Undertake other applicable tasks assigned by the Head of the Program Department.

Working Hours: 0800 HRS to 1430 HRS
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday (except weekend and all public holidays)

Total Salary Range: MRF 8,680.00-9,820 (will be determined based on qualification and experience)
