Site Supervisor (local) - Quasar Developers

Deadline: 06 May 2024 | Salary: MVR 12,000 - 15,999

Objective: 
We're looking for a Site Supervisor to manage our construction sites at a local Islands and Resorts. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction site management and will be able to ensure that our site is safe and productive. Candidate will be monitoring on-site day-to-day activities and reporting the progress status to the Construction Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and monitoring the progress of all construction activities at work site
- Provide onsite support to site engineer and Head of operations.
- Prepare work schedule, staff allocation and ensure site works are done as per schedule.
- Ensuring all equipment’s are in working order and good condition
- Act as a point of contact for suppliers, local institutions and site staff.
- Ensuring all on-site workers adhere to the health and safety regulations at all times
- Regularly checking inventory and placing orders for building materials
- Interpreting building plans and construction blueprints
- Ensuring project completion as per the set timeline
- Assist to secure all required permits for the project.
- Coordinate meetings between supply and logistics stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate staff to create peak performance.

Qualification and Experience:

- Previous experience of handling projects at local Islands is an advantage.
- Diploma or a Professional Certificate in construction management, civil engineering  or related field
- At least 3 years work experience in a similar role in construction sites.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies
- Highly proactive attitude to work and towards the team.
- Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
- Strong leadership qualities
