CENTRAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Job Purpose
Process transactions and customer requests (Funds transfers, Opening/Amendment of Accounts, Trade Finance, granting of credit facilities, drafting of letters, etc) in a timely and efficient manner as per set procedures.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to the identification of risks, pain points and suggest effective solutions so as to provide an exceptional and differentiated service level.
• Process transactions accurately within set deadlines in accordance to procedures and report any discrepancy to Supervisor
• Process funds transfers according to set guidelines and within cut off times.
• Process in-clearing and out-clearing of cheques and management of returned/unpaid cheques according to set guidelines.
• Process Trade related transactions e.g. documentary credits/documentary collections, etc., according to set guidelines.
• Process the setting up/amendment of credit facilities granted to customer according to set guidelines.
• Draft advice/letters.
• Perform reconciliation of Intermediary accounts on a daily basis.
• Respond to queries from customers (locally and overseas) within a satisfactory timeframe.
• Respond to queries received from BU's and other Banks and ensure they are being attended to within set frame.
• Ensure that products and services are charged in line with current tariffs to ascertain bank’s profitability.
• File and archive physical documents as per guidelines.

 Requirements
• GCE Advanced Level
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong Knowledge of MS Office tools including MS Excel
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good knowledge of written and oral communication in English
