Bank of Maldives is seeking to recruit versatile Full-Stack software developers to the position of Software Developer in our Information Systems Department.
Roles & Responsibilities:
▪ Design, develop, and maintain applications using Laravel & Vuejs and related technologies.
▪ Write clean, well-documented code that is maintainable and scalable.
▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
▪ Collaborate effectively within an agile team, embracing agile principles and practices.
▪ Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and best practices.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
▪ Proficient understanding of Laravel and Vue.js.
▪ Familiarity with Go or Java & frameworks like Quarkus is considered an added advantage.
▪ Familiarity with RDMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience writing efficient SQL queries.
▪ Hands-on experience with Git for version control
▪ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
▪ Strong communication and problem-solving skills, crucial for collaboration and troubleshooting
▪ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools like Jenkins, enabling seamless integration and deployment processes.
▪ Knowledge of Docker containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker Engine, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm) is an added advantage.
Criteria:
▪ Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, or a related field OR;
▪ 2+ years of proven experience in Laravel & Vuejs.
