As the Chief Engineer you will be tasked with driving strategic planning through the development and execution of a comprehensive engineering strategy aligned with the resort's goals. Your role will involve spearheading innovative initiatives to enhance sustainability, energy efficiency, and the overall guest experience. Your duties will extend to overseeing maintenance, repairs, implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing engineering projects and managing landscaping. Regulatory compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards will be a key focus, along with efficient budget management for the engineering department, implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Requirement: Minimum of 2 years experience in the luxury hotel industry and in a management role, with island or remote destination experiences preferred.
